Create Child – Free Environment – Break the Normality

NORMAL IS BORING

We need to give our Children their Childhood not treating them adults! The best gift that we can give to our Children is the best environment where child’s unique creativity is respected.

New Paradigms for New Education Policy

“The function of education is to teach one to think intensively and to think critically. Intelligence plus character – that is the goal of true education.” – Martin Luther King, Jr.

New Paradigms for New Education Policy

  1. Character before knowledge.
  2. Community Partnership more than selfish Individuals.
  3. Family Spirit more than Consumerism.
  4. Sharing not only receiving.
  5. Traditional with Modernity.

Undoubtedly behind all of these Paradigms must lay healthy and effective teaching and learning. Giving children their own space to grow with responsible freedom should be the rule of the day. After reflecting New Paradigms for New Education Policy, we need to be convinced of what we are going to give to the present children.

  1. God – Centred Education. God oriented and Value based Education is the urgency of the time. God is not outdated. Values are not outdated. It still holds. There should be compulsory God Centred Curriculum. We should never compromise with Catechism and moral Science classes. Every school should have compulsory first hour as Moral Science and Catechism where we can impart the love of God and love of neighbour. If parents had been faithful to instil a delight in God and the study of His Word, their children would normally continue lifelong learning. However, when parents failed to do so, history also records that their children generally went the way of the world. We need to have constructive criticism for growth. Are we courageous enough to ask ourselves whether our schools are in the forefront not only in imparting knowledge but also of imparting God oriented curriculum amidst many trials and tribulations from the Government and parents? Are we first of all humane and spiritual mentors? St. Don Bosco always used to tell the boys, “God Sees You”. This has a deeper meaning of God’s love and protection. We need to infuse in the students to love their own God and expose the values of their religion in their day-to-day life and activities.
  2. Child – Centred Education. Child -Centred Education is the influence of educators like Jean-Jacques Rousseau, Johann Heinrich Pestalozzi, and Friedrich Froebel. Play is the highest phase of child development. Education is a gift for life. We help children unlock their potential and realize their dreams. We believe that every child is extraordinary and has right learning opportunities. Our commitment is to ensure that all children, irrespective of their religion, class and origin, are able to go to school, play, interact and learn with other children of their age. We help the children to sharpen their creativity and assist them to secure a life of dignity for themselves and for others.

To conclude, we make learning fun. Our School Environment should be child-friendly and interactive teaching-learning methods which are mainly learning by doing. We need to break the barriers by providing holistic learning to children. Make the entire experience much more fun and promote healthy competition. The best gift that we can give this children’s day is the best environment where child’s unique creativity is respected. CREATE CHILD – FREE ENVIRONMENT and BREAK THE NORMALITY.

NORMAL IS BOARING. DARE TO DREAM. BE UNIQUE IN IMPARTING TRUE KNOWLEDGE.

Thank you and God Bless.
