01. Objectives and Method:
- The aim of the school is to develop the character and the personality of each pupil by imparting Sound Education, based on Christian principles using the Preventive System of Don Bosco.
- The harmonious development of mind and body is effected by suitable Religious, Moral, Intellectual, Social and Physical education involving a variety of Curricular and Co- curricular activities.
02. The school uniform is compulsory on all class days and at school functions. Pupils should come to school clean and tidy. Hair should be well trimmed and combed. Uncivilized Hair Style will not permitted, Normal hair style should be maintained.
03. It is forbidden to write or scribble on the walls, desks, etc., throw paper or ink about classroom or in any way damage the school property. Damage done will be restored by collecting fine at the discretion of the Principal.
04. Pupils are strictly forbidden to bring any electronic gadgets like cellular phone, walkman, cassettes, CDs, Pen drives or any other such material to the classroom or to introduce any sort of comics or objectionable literature into the school and purchase any article of food from unauthorized dealers in or near by school premises.
05. Every pupil must take part in the school games and other activities unless declared physically unfit or exempted by the Principal. Attendance at official school functions like the Parents Day, Sports Day, Independence Day, etc. is Compulsory. Absentees may be fined or penalized.
06. Pupils are not allowed to meet parents or leave the school premises during school hours without the permission of the Principal.
07. A student should carry his/her ID card at all times.
08. Rule of Language
As the medium of instruction is English, everyone is speak in English in the School Campus.
09. Conduct outside the School
Any reported or observed objectionable contact outside the school, on the part of students, will them liable to disciplinary action.
10. Punctuality and attendance
Pupils must be punctual for class on every working day. Late comers should not enter the class without the signature of the Principal / Person Authorized.
No absentee should enter class without the signature of the Principal / Authorized Signatory.
Pupils must return to school on the Reopening Day after every long holiday. Absence on the first day of the term or after holidays such as Christmas, Pongal, Deepavali, Ramzan, Quarterly, School Annual Day, School Sports Day etc. will be punishable with fine of ‘50/- in addition to ‘10/- per day of absence and will be entered into the pupils record. Only in case of sickness, Leave may be obtained before class commences and a Medical Certificate must be produced on return.
A student absenting from school for 10 days in succession without permission will be marked “LEFT”. He / She will not be readmitted as a matter of policy.
A week’s notice in writing is required for the removal of a pupil. The father of the pupil concerned should make the requisition. If the father is no more, the mother’s signature is necessary.
11. Discipline
The student’s behavior should be courteous & Virtuous at all times and in all places both inside and outside the school. Direspect to the teachers, Irregular attendance, habitual idleness, negligence of homework, disobedience and disrespect towards members of the staff, or bad moral influence justify dismissal. Pupils are responsible to the school authorities for their conduct both in and outside the school. Any student involving in the following acts will be dismissed immediately from the school with appropriate T.C., indicating the reason for his removal on that very day.
They are :
- Copying and helping others to copy and other malpractices such as altering marks and forging signatures.
- Physical violence-fighting with other students, causing serious injuries, getting involved in activities of criminal nature
- Smoking and other unhealthy practices is punishable under legal and educational rules.
- Possession of materials of low moral value (books, cds, pen drives, etc)
- Bringing CDS, mobile phones, cameras to the school.
12. Library :
i). A Card will be issued to every student.
ii). Only One book can be borrowed with the Card.
iii).Books will be issued only on producing the Card.
iv). Books borrowed should not be meddled with and returned in good condition to the teacher in charge.
v). The Card should to be taken care of by the concerned student.
13. Terminal Examinations:
Progress Reports will be given to the parents after school examinations on the Open Day
Parents or guardians are requested to examine the Progress Report carefully and see that their Sons or daughters make a special effort to study those subjects in which they are below average. They should attend the Open Day held after Terminal Examination without fail.

School Fee:
School fee should be paid on the days mentioned in the school calendar for each term. A student joining the school in the middle of the academic year has to pay fees for the whole year. If pupil leaves the school during the term, he/she shall have no right to claim a remission of the fee paid.
17. Attendance
a) Regular attendance is a key requisite for a good student and the school gives much importance to it. A special certificate is awarded to students with a hundred percent attendance.
18. Conduct in the Class Room
a) At the stroke of the first bell for either session of the classes all must move towards the respective places in order and in silence. Each session begins and ends with a common prayer for the whole school.
b) In the classroom, place is allotted to each pupil by the class teacher and no one should change it by oneself. Likewise no one should move from place to place or go out of the class-room without proper permission.
c) When teachers or any respectable persons enter the class or leave the pupils are required to stand up spontaneously and greet them respectfully.
d) Silence should be maintained as it is very conducive to quiet reflection and study both for oneself and others.
e) Loud talking or clapping of hands or any other disturbance to other classes is never permitted. Choral recitation, singing or anything else that is liable to cause disturbance to other classes should be avoided. Pupils can be taken outdoors.
f) In the absence of the teacher the class leader immediately takes charge of the class and reports the fact to the principal with the help of the assistant leader. Pupils are expected to study their lessons in strict silence and seriousness in the absence of the teacher.
g) No one should take up any collection or impose a fine without the authorization of the Principal. No presentation of gifts either by upils or parents to teachers and pupils, or demonstration of any sort towards the teachers should be done, without the knowledge of the principal.
h) Pupils themselves are responsible for the safe custody of their books, note books and belongings. It is not advisable for them to bring more money, or valuable articles to the school.
Responsibilities of Class Leaders:
- Leaders must be as far as possible exemplary in conduct and industrious in their studies.
2. They must be able to command the respect of the class. - They must assist the teacher in the class, e.g: in maintaining discipline, collecting or distributing books, attending to cleanliness and neatness of the class room, bringing charts, maps etc.
- They must rub the writing on the Black Board immediately after each period.
- Every day leader, especially in the higher classes, will write on the black board the date and the number of pupils present out of the total number in his class.
- The leader must be responsible for all happenings in the class during the absence of the teacher.
- The leader must realize that to be a monitor is a special privilege and honor. To betray the trust and confidence reposed in them is committing a shameful act.
- It is incumbent on all leaders to report to the Vice Principal or class teacher any breach of discipline noticed even during recess.
- In the event of a teacher being absent, they must inform the Vice Principal with in the first five minutes of commencement of the period.
- In the absence of the class leader, the assistant leader shall function in the same capacity.
